Sarah Misselbrook, Southampton born artist, has shown works locally, nationally and internationally in group and solo exhibitions. 

Building on the success of 2006 which saw a solo show at Havant Arts Centre followed by ‘Affirmation’, a site specific body of work installed in the bargate monument gallery, Southampton, UK, which saw over five thousand visitors, Sarah Misselbrook is now producing new work at Cyprus College of Art, Lemba, Paphos. With a new landscape, climate and social and political situation, Misselbrook is drawing on her experience to fuel the creation of works.

With forthcoming international exhibitions as well as the globally accessible online gallery, Misselbrook’s practice is continually reaching new audiences.  Designed and constructed with financial support from Arts Council England, this month also sees the 1-year anniversary of the launch of sarahmisselbrook.com. Misselbrook’s online gallery and publicity back catalogue launched on February 14th 2006. Within this first year, Misselbrook has received exhibition invitations, purchase orders for works, link exchange requests and extensive feedback all through this highly accessible and interactive website.

A successful web presence has so far seen over seven and a half thousand unique visitors showing interest from around the world for Misselbrook’s artwork. During this first year online, Misselbrook has launched a blog,
which is updated regularly with her thoughts and opinions regarding social, political and personal situations. Misselbrook has also recently launched ‘Arts Forum’ with over 50 members thus far securing sponsorship from a space arts organisation. Arts Forum offers networking and advisory services for artists free of charge; promotion of art related websites, advertising and reviews of exhibitions as well as creative recruitment and applications for open exhibitions.
