My work has always dealt with the nude female form and female sexuality. The female nude is a source of great interest and inspiration to me. I love the curves and sensuality of the form itself in all different body types. In dealing with the nude I am also dealing with sexuality and the erotic.
Here in Cyprus I have decided to take my exploration of the female sexuality and the erotic even further by exploring the idea of the femme fatal and sexual fetishes. The femme fatal drawings are done in a black and white film noir style. The women in these drawings are seductive, yet in a cunning, coy and confident manner. The fetish series explores a much more perverse side of female sexuality. The drawings portray the sexual play of bondage, dominance and sado-masochistics. The drawings themselves are powerful, even blunt images. Being here at the Cyprus College or Art is about experimenting with my art. So, as a two-dimensional artist, I have produced some three-dimensional art to accompany my fetish drawings.
