The Beatrice Royal Gallery was the setting for a cocktail party
with an artistic twist, thrown by Hampshire marketing and design
agency LeePeckGreenfield.
Although the Southampton-based agency didn’t pay for hundreds of naked
models to lie down in front of the entrance to generate publicity, it did create
quite a stir with its six-foot ice sculpture.
Top local artist Sarah Misselbrook
was a special guest at the event which explored the overlap between art and
business, and more than 200 guests from all over
the region flocked to the venue.
The party was inspiration for anyone looking
for imaginative concepts, and according to LeePeckGreenfield’s
managing director Stuart Greenfield the message was well received: ‘There’s
nowhere better than an art gallery to spark conversation in a social
event, and we thought it would also serve a useful
purpose when we bring our business contacts together.’
