Dates of new show 'Affirmation' to be announced
Since the start of 2005, Sarah Misselbrook has been developing a
new body of work entitled 'Affirmation'. This includes sculptural
bodily extensions, figurative skeletal forms, canvases and a video
performance.
This body of work continues the exploration into body image, consumption
and the beautifying of the subject. Further developing her multi-disciplined
approach, Misselbrook has employed various techniques and processes
to embody her ideas and concepts.
'Affirmation' will be on show in a solo exhibition at the Bargate
Monument gallery run by arts organisation, a space, in Southampton
due to open in early 2006.
